Contact Us
This is an independent guide to Athens, not the city authority, the Ministry of Culture, Hellenic Heritage, the Acropolis Museum or any tour operator. We cannot sell you a ticket, change a booking, or tell you whether a site will be open on your date — but if something on this site is wrong or out of date, we want to hear about it. The guide itself starts on the Athens city guide homepage.
What to write to us about
A price, an opening time or a closed day that has changed since the date printed beside it. A link that goes nowhere. A figure you can source better than we did — especially for the two museums where we print no price because their own sites do not publish one.
Tell us which page and which figure, and if you can, where you saw the correct one. We will read the official source again and re-stamp the date on the page.
What we cannot help with
Bookings. We hold none: every Check Availability button hands you to the platform the tour is sold on, and the booking, the payment and the cancellation are between you and them. If you need to change or cancel, contact the platform your confirmation email came from.
Acropolis tickets bought on the official platform are managed at tickets.hh.gr under Manage Tickets — that is where the two permitted changes are made, up to two hours before your slot. We have no access to that system.
We also cannot tell you whether a strike is called for your date. Nobody publishes that in English; the strikes page explains where to look.
Official contacts, for the things we are not
For questions about a specific site or museum, go to the organisation that runs it rather than to us.
Hellenic Heritage / ODAP — the Acropolis and all state archaeological sites and museums: hh.gr, with ticket support through the platform's Help pages.
Acropolis Museum — Dionysiou Areopagitou 15, +30 210 900 09 00; group bookings on +30 210 9000903.
Ephorate of Antiquities of the City of Athens — +30 210 9238724, [email protected].
This is Athens, the city's own visitor service — [email protected], +30 210 331 2002, with information points on Syntagma Square and at the airport arrivals level.
Tourist Police — 1571.
Corrections policy
Every factual page on this site carries a freshness box with the date the figures were last read off an official source. When you tell us something has changed we re-read the source rather than editing the number to match the report, and we move the date only when we have actually looked.
Where an official source does not publish a figure at all, we say so rather than borrowing a plausible one from elsewhere. That is why the Byzantine and Christian Museum and the Benaki have no admission price on this site.
